Exploring Temples in Cambodia

A glimpse of Siem Reap's beautiful people and temples!

Every year, our goal is to travel to a country we’ve never been. We’re an experiences-over-things couple, and we’re always excited to live in a new culture even for a few weeks.

We were sweating every second in Siem Reap, Cambodia, its sun-drenched temples and the cheerful people made us forget our crunchy fried cheeks. Our most favorite pre-trip tradition: learning a bit of a country’s language - there’s just nothing like seeing locals smile when you speak even a tiny Good Morning in their vernacular! Ahh, simple traveler joys.

We also plan around where we’ll stay at where the great eats are - top priorities’ are the local faves instead of the tourist faves.
