My wife and I started travel hacking back in 2017 and since then, we accumulated 3 million+ in points that we used to travel for free!

The money we saved for our travel expenses ($30,000+) was used to pay for memorable experiences like bungee jumping, sky diving, food tours, swimming with the sharks, and dining at the legendary Sukiyabashi Jiro etc. to name a few!

What is your credit score? You need to have a credit score of at least 700 - 740 to qualify for the best travel rewards cards. You can create an account with Experian (https://www.experian.com/consumer-products/score-boost.html) to know what your FICO score is. This doesn't hurt your credit score whatsoever and the cool thing about it is it's FREE!

Do you currently carry any debt? (I highly recommend paying everything off first before you start with this hobby)

Do you have a business or side-hustle (this can be selling items on ebay/etsy/craigslist, driving for uber/lyft, dog sitter, freelance writer, Airbnb hosting etc.)

Which travel reward cards do you own at the moment?

Have you opened any Amex credit cards in the past? If so, which one(s)?

Do you have a spouse that can join you in the Travel Hacking journey? (We call this the Player 2 strategy and this will help accumulate points faster!)

How much do you usually spend per month (think groceries, utilities, gas, eating out, insurance, etc.) There’s a certain amount of minimum spend on these cards to get the bonus so knowing this will be helpful!
