There other ways to get a free night certificate with Hyatt but you may need to hit a certain number of stays to do so. Below are some examples:

In addition to being able to earn World of Hyatt points with the World of Hyatt Credit Card and the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card, you can also transfer over points from Chase Ultimate Rewards.

BEST WAYS TO USE A FREE HYATT CERTIFICATE (CATEGORY 1 - 4)
Like what I mentioned in the post earlier, you can get a free night certificate every year if you have the World of Hyatt credit card (personal version).
I am all about maximizing the free night certificates since holding the World of Hyatt card has an annual fee of $95. If I do use that free night, I want to make sure that I am booking a hotel that’s more than $95 to offset and really maximize paying that annual fee. : )
Also, one other way to maximize your Hyatt free night certificates is to redeem them when paid rates are high, regardless of the category in which your desired property falls. The certificate can come in handy if you’re going to a place where it’s peak season and the hotel prices are higher than normal. This is one of those perfect scenarios to use the free night certificate!
