One of the surest ways to get the most value out of your points is to book Hyatt’s top luxury hotel brands like the Alila and Park Hyatt. If you can get at least 1.7 cents each per point, then you’re getting a decent value out of your points. Anything less than that, you may consider using cash and save your points for a better redemption!
Here’s the formula how to calculate cents per point:
Cash Price / Points per Night x 100 = cents per point
Example:
$500 (cash price) / 10,000 (points per night) x 100 = 5 cents per point (this is above 1.7 cents per point so this is a great redemption)
